Technorati Profile

Dear Poets and Readers,

Welcome to the November 2007 of Poetry Life & Times.

Featured poets this month include --in random order:
Taylor Graham, Leland Jamieson, Sage Sweetwater, Steve De France, Joseph Lysaght, DL Mullen  and Ian Thorpe. Expect a wide variety of original writing and styles from all these highly individual poets reflecting on numerous themes. As well as the poets who have previously contributed to PL&Times, e.g. Taylor Graham, Sage Sweetwater, Ian Thorpe and Leland Jamieson, we are pleased to introduce Irish poet Joseph Lysaght, DL Mullen and Steve de France.

(Here a medium sized slideshow should be displayed. It may not work with certain browsers. Please scroll down the page.)

§ This month we're honoured to present an interview with Janet Caldwell, brilliant Texan poet whose 5 Degrees to Separation is reviewed by Ian Thorpe also on this issue -- for free copies donated to PoetryLifeandTimes, see also his review.

§ Resident poets and The Perils of Norris  (c. Sara L. Russell) feature Robin Ouzman Hislop, Michael Burch, Helga Ross and Sara L. Russell.

§ We are also introducing slideshows and clips showing pictures, photos and images provided by poets whose work has been published by Poetry Life and Times along the years. Thanks to all. We hope to attain some more deserved attention by participating into mainstream media sites such as youtube, indexing facilities eg Technorati and large networks such as ning.com (see Creative Thinkers International, where a PoetryLifeandTimes group has also been created).

§ Looking forward to your poems... you can join our poets and readers group at youtube and watch some very interesting videoclips and animations with poems set to music, by Christina Rossetti, Emily Bronte, William Blake and many others. You are welcome to upload your own clips (it's extremely easy).

Please remember to follow our  submission guidelines: Only original poems and articles will be considered for publication.
